Microsoft Teams: Video and Audio Web Conferencing

As part of the university's continued efforts to streamline collaboration tools and reduce redundant software expenses, Information Technology has standardized on Microsoft Teams as the primary platform for online meetings, chat and collaboration.

While Zoom Workplace requires separate licensing at an additional cost, Microsoft Teams (MS Teams) is fully included as part of the university's existing Microsoft 365 (M365) licensing. By consolidating our communication and collaboration tools within M365, we can better manage resources, maintain tighter security and provide a more unified experience for students, faculty and staff.
